Physician Assistant

Laura Follett, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in the care of patients with epilepsy. She plays a key role in managing patients admitted to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), where she supports diagnostic evaluations, seizure characterization,
and treatment planning. Laura also sees patients in the outpatient setting at the University of Minnesota Physicians St. Louis Park Clinic, home to MINCEP Epilepsy Care. Her clinical approach emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and continuity across inpatient and outpatient settings for individuals living with epilepsy.

Stephanie Brakel, PA-C, is a physician assistant who provides outpatient care for individuals living with epilepsy at MINCEP Epilepsy Care, part of the University of Minnesota Physicians. She is passionate about building strong patient relationships and takes the time to understand each individual’s needs in order to help improve their quality of life. She earned her medical training at the University of South Dakota. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
